Registration to the Breakaway Lettings website is free, however a commission based fee is charged upon confirmation of all bookings

You are, of course, free to advertise your property privately or via any other site. We simply ask owners to maintain their own availability calendar and pricing. From our experience in the holiday industry, the success rate from enquiry to confirmed booking is by far higher if all information is provided up front rather than leaving users to enquire about details such as availability and pricing etc.

Bookings are made by the holiday maker paying Breakaway Lettings the deposit. Deposits being £50 or 10% of the total booking, whichever is the higher. Deposits are non-refundable.

Our commission is deducted and the remainder of the deposit is added to the owners account. Guest details are forwarded to the owner to finalise the booking, and take final/remaining payment.

Owners accounts are paid out once a month (30th of month) for all bookings taken during that month. Accounts can be paid out after each booking however this will incur a £1 surcharge for each payment. Monthly payments are free of surcharges.

If bookings are taken less than 1 month from the holiday start date, the total amount will be charged and added to the owners account, less our commission.

No contact details, email addresses or web links are to be included in your holiday listings.

Owners take full responsibility for finalising bookings. Breakaway Lettings will match holiday makers with holiday home owners and arrange the deposit, finalising the holiday booking is the responsibility of the owner.

Owners take full responsibility for their holiday home and should ensure adequate insurances are in place.

Breakaway Lettings takes no responsibility for any damages to any holiday home.
